Chilling, Gaming, Fringe, Music.

Just about to wrap things up on the working front for the day, I have great need for some serious rest and relaxation so I intend to spend what remains of the day reading the newspapers, magazines, watching TV & DVD’s, packing up for tomorrow and playing some video games. I am going to bring the MBP with me tomorrow so I can develop material, still have lots to get ready for Monday.

Lots of new music being released at the moment, last weekend I was checking out Monsters of Folk & Pearl Jam and this weekend I have picked up Paramore and  AFI’s latest offerings, only had a quick play of a few tracks so far but first impressions are very good, I expect they will both be receiving heavy play time on my iPod throughout the week. I also have a substantial collection of new podcasts to keep me entertained and informed as the week progresses, including some new ones – more details on next week’s podcast I think. It would be interesting to have a round table discussion on the age of new media – something I can try and arrange during the week time permitting.

I picked up Zombie Apocalypse yesterday which is proving to be a very fun experience, essentially an Arcade zombie survival game it has limited scope in it’s execution but it’s a great no real effort pick up and play release. I should have further thoughts on this week’s podcast. Right I think it’s time for some reading and gaming, I need to pack up my stuff but will leave that for a while. Lets start with some more Fringe I think!!
